Welcome to Huska Hair – Our Journey  has been very rewarding. It is our mission to be the best hair salon experience in the Comox Valley.

Our hairdressing career has  focused on the needs of our clients and building friendships for over 30 years. We work with you on a personal level, asking the right questions and listening to ensure you leave with a smile and fabulous hair! 

You will find us set in a warm, private, contemporary environment and an oasis that you can escape the hustle bustle of life and and relax.The music is pleasant so you can enjoy your book  or chill in our lounge while you receive an exceptional hair service.

We have been a sought-after trendsetting styling duo in the Comox Valley for over two decades.

Early in our careers, in Victoria, BC, we had mentors that guided and shared their knowledge. As young stylist we were deeply impacted and committed to the power of education. 

We saw how ongoing education transferred to creating beautiful hair. 

We quickly rose to the top of the industry… becoming educators for major hair care manufacturing companies. Our craft has taken us to Vancouver, Vegas, LA, New York , Milan, and Toronto sharing ideas and training with some of the top hairdressers in the world. Our work has been published in national and international trade magazines.

While continuing to travel and stay committed to education, we moved to the Comox Valley, where we opened a busy salon, which was consistently awarded the title of best salon in the Comox Valley. As well as building lifelong clients , we had the pleasure of providing apprenticeships and helped build careers for many successful hairdressers.

To put it in a nut shell, we have been blessed. The training, mentorships, camaraderie, and travel have been and still are amazing. 

We were once told that we were experts in our field, …our response was being an expert implies you know everything about your trade. For us we think we are still learning, exploring and expanding our knowledge constantly and hope to continue for many years to come. 

We pride ourselves as being one of the most exclusive, comfortable, and experienced salons in  the Comox Valley.  We invite you to come visit us, coffee is always on and we encourage you to bring your ideas and photos.
